PHOTOGRAPHER

Hi! My name is Deborah owner and head photographer of The Aisle Photography (wedding event photography) and Error Photography (commercial, portrait and concert photography) located in beautiful Point Pleasant, NJ.  I have loved taking pictures since I was old enough to hold a camera and I have been professionally shooting for the past 10 years since I was 20. My career in photography began with freelancing within the concert music photography world. I have enjoyed covering mainstream music artists within the alternative rock world, such as Blink 182. Linkin Park, Thrice, and many other national and international musical artists. I also enjoyed covering live action professional extreme sports in my earlier years of photography. In March 2012 I launched my own online alternative rock magazine called alternativebeast.com featuring music artist profiles, staff blogs on artists lifestyles, interviews and upcoming shows.

In 2010 my older sister got married and I wanted to photograph her wedding day, but she wanted me to be in her wedding party so she hired what she thought was a professional photographer, but that didn’t work out so well because the proofs were not representative of a professional photographer. When I saw how devastated my sister was after receiving her wedding proofs due to the company missing so many important moments and not delivering what they promised, I had an epiphany. Why not launch a wedding photography company? I vowed that I would create a photography company for couples in which I would honor their wishes and treat them as if they were my relatives getting married and provide them with pictures that would mirror their picturesque day and shoot from my heart.

I am a realist and I believe in photographing my couples as who they are as individuals as well as when they become one, as husband and wife when they meet at the end of that beautifully adorned aisle. 

It truly is an honor when an engaged couple entrusts me with the responsibility of visually documenting the only tangible memory they will have to reflect back on their beautiful day as they grow in their marriage. I hope that I have the pleasure to meet you both as you prepare to take that exciting journey towards The Aisle!!
